MATERNITY FASHION

I am so happy to be back considering that I haven’t written in a while since I found out that I was pregnant. My first trimester was very difficult but now I feel a lot better and I’m back to my old self again yay for me Lol…..So let’s get down to business since I’m pregnant  it’s only fitting to talk about  maternity fashion.
Being pregnant it can be a tough time for woman to feel beautiful since the body is going through a bunch of changes. Personally my body started to change quickly and I had a little bump at two months so I covered my little bump up by wearing long  flowing dresses because I didn’t want anyone to know that I was pregnant not just yet this look is very flattering to pregnant woman.
While being pregnant ladies you can still look beautiful and you don’t have to break the bank by buying clothing a size up or two by doing this after your pregnancy you can alter the clothing and perhaps be able to wear it after the baby is born. When picking out clothing try not to over spend and buy statement pieces so you can alternate and add accessories to complete the look.
My favorite clothing to wear is dresses, long skirts, legging, tank tops, tunic, and etc these are all great pieces that you can rotate and still feel comfortable and cute. Another suggestion is to buy maternity clothing there is so much cute cloths out there here a few stores that carry maternity clothing…….Motherhood, OLD NAVY, Gap, Target,  and JC Penney.
Thank you all for reading my Blog and I hope everyone got something out of it =)

Outfits for plus size women

Being a plus size woman you don’t have to look like a grandmother by wearing shapeless clothing. There are many famous plus size women who are happy with their size and they show it off. For instance, Queen Latifah who is comfortable in her own skin or Toccara Jones who was on America Top model who showed the world that curvy girls looks just as good as skinny girls in there cloths and we just cant forget about Mia Tyler she walked many cat walks and grace the pages of many magazines.

Full figure women while choosing clothing try not to pick anything that is super tight it’s always better to find clothing that fits your body shape. If you’re a pear shape meaning that your upper body is smaller than your lower body try wearing dark color bootleg or flared jeans paired with a tailor white shirt with chunky necklace and an apple shape means that your body is noticeably larger than your lower body and if you gain five pounds it would go to your waistline. Try wearing an empire waistline that fits just under your bust draws the eye away from a round stomach and wide leg stretch jeans and to complete the look some hot shoes. There are other shapes but I’m only focusing on these two for now since curvy women fall into this category.

One of the reasons why I wrote this blog is that a reader who reads my blogs suggested that I write about full figure women so if anyone wants me to write about a certain topic please let me know.

Valentine’s Day outfits

Valentine’s Day is one week away and we all want to look HOT for that special somebody. So, you’re probably wondering what to wear I’ve got the perfect outfit for your glamorous night out to a comfy night in.
If your planning on going out with that special someone or out with the girls wear a dress and cute accessories such as heart earring and clutch, and since its Valentine’s Day dress the theme but don’t go overboard you don’t want to look like a walking Valentine.

Whether you hanging out with friends or spending the nights with your love ones, you can still be sexy and comfortable .By wearing a sweater paired with some legging and flats or flat boots.

I hope this helps and if you have any questions or comments please contact me.

SHOPPING ON A DIME

Hey everyone I've missed you all I haven't wrote for a few weeks but I’m back!!!! . So, let's get down to business I’ve been seeing way to many people spending too much money on trendy clothing. I know we all want to be trendy and look HOT but don't let your pocket book feel it because trends sometimes only last for one season but if you’re lucky it last for two. I can remember when I was younger and I loved name brands clothing like Gucci, Marc Jacobs, and bestay Johnson I used to spent my whole check on these types of labels but now I’m older and wiser I rather save money and see money in my bank account but Don't get me wrong I still shop but now I'm a smarter shopper that shops on a budget.

To prevent spending all you’re hard earned cash on trendy clothing try shopping at discounted stores like Ross, T. J Max, Marshalls, Forever21, charlotte russe and list goes on. These types of stores you will find the must haves for the season for a fraction of the price.
Personally I shop at discounted stores all the time my family & friends know me as a discount queen since I put outfits together for less than 50 bucks. So, I challenge everyone reading this blog to put a trendy look together for 50 bucks or less and at the bottom of this blog you can see looks that I put together as well.

STAY AWAY FROM LEG WARMERS

There are so many trends to stay away from but leg warmers are one of the worst trends out this year.  Leg warmers were worn in the 80s and by dancers they became huge and everyday people wore them over pants and skirts but now it’s 2010 and I see people walking around the mall with leg warmers on. I also see famous people with this dreadful trend on too. Even if you see a celebrity wearing this looks DON’T wear it…… the celebrity is not always right when it comes to fashion trends so let’s stay away from leg warmers so instead of wearing them try tights this is much better choice than leg warmers any day and tights are much more stylish and cute.

MUST HAVES FOR WINTER

Every year is a trend that I love or love to hate this year is no
different. I've been researching fall trends and discovered a few must have that you can add to your closet for the winter season.
Combat booths this trend is everywhere the combat boots was designed to be worn by soldiers during actual combat or training but now it’s chic to wear. It’s so crazy that fashion takes a combat booth that is not desirable….. Too desirable for everyday fashionista this is why fashion is so GREAT. I purchased my combat booths a while ago and I love to wear them with skinny jeans, leggings, shorts or skirt. There are so many ways that you can wear the combat  booth.

Secondly, leopard prints are still in and have been in for a while now.I believe this trend is not going away for a while. We all want to  release the inner leopard in us Lol.... but leopard a must have for winter. You can purchase shoes, purse, blouse, or belt but please I repeat PLEASE don't overdo it with an entire outfit with leopard you just need a hint of leopard and don’t be afraid to play with colors like red, mustard yellow, green these color will add a pop of color to complete your look.

Ok…..these are two looks that I put together about three years ago. I styled a model and Tiffany the pop singer

A couple of looks to stay away from and DON’T copy
